Not every founder starts with a product. Céline Flores Willers started with a LinkedIn post, from a shared apartment in Germany, and turned that into one of the most recognised personal branding businesses in the DACH region. Her story is less about a eureka moment and more about understanding something concrete: visibility, done right, is a skill that professionals and companies are willing to pay for.
Where it All Started:
Céline Flores Willers began creating content on LinkedIn in 2018, focusing on startups, innovation, and tech trends. The audience grew fast. LinkedIn named her a Top Voice in 2018, 2019, and again in 2022, making her one of the few creators in Germany to earn that recognition three times. By 2022 her following had passed 130,000 professionals, and now over 225,000 followers.
That traction was not accidental. She studied communications at the University of Hohenheim, then spent time at EY in strategic communications and worked as an innovation trainer at Roland Berger before going independent. She brought structure to what many creators treat as instinct.
The People Branding Company:
In August 2020, Céline founded The People Branding Company in Munich. The company works with executives, sales teams, and corporate brands to build their presence on LinkedIn through profile strategy, content creation, and employee advocacy programmes.
Clients include companies like ERGO and Accenture. The work covers everything from helping a C-suite executive communicate more clearly to running brand ambassador programmes inside larger organisations. The company also runs a People Branding Campus, a dedicated education offering for LinkedIn-based brand development.
It is practical, service-based work. If you want to understand what LinkedIn strategy looks like when it is built as a consultancy rather than a side hustle, The People Branding Company is a solid reference point for personal branding in Europe.
Investing and Advising:
Céline does not just build her own companies. She is an angel investor in Passionfroot and Wonnda, both active since early 2022, and has also backed Junto and Tomorrow University. Passionfroot helps creators manage sponsorships and brand partnerships. Wonnda connects brands with European product manufacturers. The investments sit close to her professional focus: creator economy infrastructure and commerce.
Since January 2024, she has also served as Beiratsvorsitzende (supervisory board chair) at Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, a private bank based in Germany. It is a clear signal that her credibility extends beyond branding circles into broader business and finance contexts.
Co-founding MerryLoo:
Alongside her brothers, Céline co-founded MerryLoo, a D2C brand that sells water-saving products through Amazon and Shopify. It is a different kind of venture from The People Branding Company, more product-led, more operationally intensive. But it shows she is not just advising others on how to build things. She is doing it herself.
Speaking and Media:
Céline speaks regularly across Europe on personal branding and visibility strategy. She has appeared at TEDx and Bits & Pretzels, among other events. In 2024, she was featured in an ARD documentary, which she screened for 170 guests at a cinema in Munich. The production process, she noted publicly, took around two years from first contact to broadcast.
She also hosts 45’DIVE, a podcast covering personal branding and entrepreneurship for German-speaking professionals.
Why Her Work Matters:
What Céline Flores Willers has built is not just a personal brand. It is a repeatable framework for helping other professionals be seen in the right rooms. For founders trying to grow their own audiences, or operators thinking about executive visibility strategy, her approach is one of the more grounded models out there. She built her audience before building her company. Then she turned that sequence into a service.
That is the thing worth paying attention to.
