Webidoo Team

Webidoo, a Milano-based AI startup that focuses on making cutting-edge digital technologies more affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has closed a fundraising round of $25 million.

Fund IXC3, a division of the Azimut Group, headed the round. With this investment, Webidoo will be able to extend its AI-driven execution strategy throughout the US SMB sector.

With the U.S. as its main expansion market, Webidoo is expanding its customer base of hundreds of SMBs in North America from its Chicago office, which acts as the hub for research, account management, and business development. This round represents a new stage in the company’s global expansion.

The Funding Playbook:

The company intends to use a large amount of the new funds to support a targeted M&A strategy that is focused on purchasing client-facing SaaS firms and marketing firms whose client relationships, commercial reach, and service capabilities can be enhanced by integrating Webidoo’s proprietary AI platforms, Jooice, Groow, and Welpy, to enable automated execution and performance optimization across their clientele. This will enable Webidoo to realize its ambitious goal of developing an AI Operating Layer for companies of all sizes, incorporating both technology and genuine consumer interaction.

With this deal, The startup expands its investor base to include TIM Ventures and 8a+, a division of Banca Generali. Over the past 12 months, the company has strengthened its product ecosystem and made investments in the infrastructure required to grow. In 2025, Webidoo reported over $18 million in revenue and over $3 million in EBITDA while continuing to invest in R&D and product development.

Giovanni Farese, CEO of Webidoo, says: “The average small business runs 20 tools that don’t talk to each other. We’re not building tool number 21. We’re building the layer that finally makes them all work together. For too long, small and medium-sized businesses have had to compete without access to the kind of technology that could truly change the game for them. With this funding round, we are accelerating a much bigger vision: we want to give SMBs superpowers.”

AI Without The Complexity:

The basic tenet of Webidoo’s U.S. strategy is that the majority of SMBs don’t require additional software. They require fewer obstacles to action from insight. By utilizing its AI infrastructure, product line, and acquisition strategy, the company is making it easier for companies to benefit from AI without having to deal with the expense and difficulty of developing internal systems from the ground up.

Ricky Gordon, CPO of Webidoo, said: “Most SMBs do not need more complexity. They need technology that helps them act. That is the role Jooice, Welpy, and Groow are designed to play. Our goal is to make AI easier to adopt, easier to use, and much more connected to real business outcomes.”

Andrea Cornetti, CEO, Real Estate and Infrastructure at Azimut Group, commented: “Our investment in Webidoo confirms the strategy of our IXC3 fund to support Italian SMEs with solid fundamentals in strategic sectors. In a context where digital infrastructure requires technological solutions that simplify and maximize access to AI’s full potential, Webidoo stands out as an ecosystem focused on measurable results and international scalability. This is the second investment made by the IXC3 fund and reflects its mission to support the growth and consolidation of high-potential companies that can position themselves distinctively in complex and fast-evolving markets.”
